Jules Charakoglou

Jules is a Greek artist based in London, UK, working across painting, 3D digital image-making, and sculpture, shaped by studies and practice, as well as several years of experience in theatre production in the West End. After initially pursuing a law degree, he redirected his path toward the arts, enrolling in a 3D Animation degree with Fine Arts and fully committing to his creative practice.

Since 2018, beginning with Parallax Gallery, Jules has presented work in selected exhibitions across London and Athens, including his most recent presentations at the London Art Fair with Saatchi Art in March 2026, followed by the group exhibition Rebirth in London in May 2026. For nearly a decade, he has also worked as a ghost artist for other artists, while continuing to develop his own distinctive practice through painting, installation, sculpture, and mixed-media work.

His work brings together the visual languages of animation, street art, 90s cartoons, and pop culture with references to the traditions of fine art, resulting in highly coloured, visually immediate compositions shaped by tension, humour, and contradiction. The result is a body of work that feels like visual poetry, with animated characters inviting the viewer into a world of layered and open-ended interpretations.
